How to nominate an organization...
A FEW SIMPLE RULES:
A member of 100 Women Pittsburgh must enter a nomination at least 72 hours prior to the meeting. This allows us enough time to vet the organization, post it, and allow members to peruse and gain some familiarity with the nominees.
WE VOTE AT THE MEETING SO YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO PITCH IF YOUR ORGANIZATION IS DRAWN OUT OF THE ‘HAT’.
No national organizations will be considered, however, local branches of national organizations are eligible for consideration. The purpose is for 100% of the contribution to stay in Greater Pittsburgh Area.
Remember, only three organizations will be presented at each meeting. If your charity is drawn, be prepared to give a 5-minute pitch (see 'Pitch Tips')
By ballot, the group will vote at the meeting, and the majority rules.
A year after being selected by the group, organizations can re-submit their names for consideration. If your organization is not selected, you can resubmit each meeting.
