Our Giving Kitchen is a volunteer-powered nonprofit dedicated to ensuring food security. Acknowledging food as the most fundamental of human needs and that stark disparities in food access exist in our community, OGK rallies volunteers from diverse backgrounds to prepare hot, nutritious meals for those in need. OGK partners with a robust network of community organizations to ensure targeted delivery of hot meals to their communities.

When a parent of a child is diagnosed with advanced-stage cancer, time and money that might have gone toward fun family activities are often redirected to appointments for treatment and medical bills.

In 2016, Racheal Antin organized a makeover, photoshoot and pizza dinner for one of her patients and her 9-year-old daughter. This idea became the nonprofit organization, One Day to Remember.

One Day to Remember offers a curated experience for each family at no cost. This gives families the opportunity to make lasting, positive memories. Every family receives a commemorative photobook.

PA Innocence Project works to exonerate those convicted of crimes they did not commit, to prevent innocent people from being prosecuted and convicted, and to help those wrongfully convicted transition to freedom. They accomplish goals by providing direct legal representation at no cost, advocating at the local, state, and federal levels for systemic change to address the root causes of wrongful convictions; providing reentry services to freed and exonerated individuals; and engaging students in the innocence movement.

Beverly’s PGH is works to ensure that every child and family in our community has access to the support and resources they need to thrive. The birthday division ensures that every child, regardless of personal or financial circumstances, deserves a happy birthday. The baby division provides extensive assistance to expecting families and new parents, and the basic care division ensures health equity by providing essential goods to support basic health and wellness needs. Funds will be used for the Greater PGH Infant Formula Bank.
